Tunshi Studio, a company specializing in semi-realistic action figures from anime and video games, has officially announced its latest release under license from SNK. Straight from the classic fighting game "The King of Fighters '97" comes the Blue Mary 1/6 Scale Action Figure. The figure is slated for a Q2 2022 release with a suggested price of 1,168 RMB.
A popular character who made her debut in the "Fatal Fury" series, Blue Mary (real name: Mary Ryan) comes from a long line of martial artists. After her father and fiancé were killed by terrorists, she became a private detective. She excels at grappling techniques that target an opponent's joints. In "The King of Fighters '97," she is hired by Geese Howard to form the "'97 Special Team" alongside Billy Kane and Ryuji Yamazaki, with the secret mission of investigating Yamazaki.
This 1/6 scale action figure of the fan-favorite Blue Mary features a seamless body with a custom fabric outfit, perfectly capturing her toned physique and defined abs. Standing at approximately 28cm tall, the figure nails her signature short blonde hair and includes two interchangeable head sculpts: one with a cool, calm expression and another with a stylish side-glancing look. In addition to her red tank top, blue pants, genuine leather belt, and shoes, the figure also comes with the important green jacket left to her by her late fiancé! Paired with eight interchangeable hands, fans can pose Blue Mary to recreate all of her spectacular fighting moves from the game!
