Bandai Namco Entertainment today announced that "DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS," the latest "Dragon Ball" console game project, is slated for release in 2022 on PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox One, and STEAM®. A new promotional video was also released.

"DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS" is an asymmetrical action game set in the world of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," where seven ordinary citizens, "Survivors," who lack superhuman powers, are pitted against one of Dragon Ball's most iconic antagonistic characters, the "Raider."
The Survivors' goal is to evade the powerful Raider and escape the battlefield. The Raider's objective is to defeat all Survivors and prevent their escape.
Players can choose to become either a "Raider" or a "Survivor." Use each side's unique skills and items to achieve victory!
This title shares a common world view with "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," and in-game save data is expected to link between the two titles. Further details on how the two titles will operate together will be announced at a later date.
A Special Beta Test will be held on STEAM®!
To refine game quality, a Special Beta Test will be held soon to gather valuable player feedback. Specific dates and times will be announced later, and players are encouraged to participate.
