NXEDGE STYLE Reveals Multiple Chou Mashin Hero Wataru Ryujinmaru Figures, Teases Sword King Ryujinmaru

BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations collectible toy division today showcased several new prototype figures from the "Chou Mashin Hero Wataru" series, part of their NXEDGE STYLE articulated line known for its sharp sculpting and unique proportions.

"Chou Mashin Hero Wataru" is a 1997 TV anime produced by the original staff of "Mashin Hero Wataru." While it continues the story of the first series, it features numerous setting changes and can largely be considered a "reboot" with a fresh narrative. The plot follows Wataru Ikusabe, who, after saving Soukaizan and Seikaizan, returns to his normal life in the Real World. However, one day he loses his memories as the savior and his "conscience," becoming prone to mischief. Himiko Shinobibe and Torao once again bring Wataru to Shinbukai to save Soukaizan, which is facing a crisis. Throughout their journey, Wataru gradually regains his lost self. A key feature of this series is the significantly revamped Mashin designs. Wataru and Ryujinmaru can undergo "Super Power Transformation" using the Magatama obtained from each world layer, gaining new appearances and abilities.

Bandai simultaneously unveiled five Ryujinmaru forms, including its Super Power Transformations: Ryujinmaru, Houou Ryujinmaru (Phoenix Ryujinmaru), Gekko Ryujinmaru (Moonlight Ryujinmaru), Byakko Ryujinmaru (White Tiger Ryujinmaru), and Chou Mashin Ryujinmaru (Super Mashin Ryujinmaru). Meanwhile, Ken-Oh Ryujinmaru (Sword King Ryujinmaru), the most frequently appearing and relatively popular form in the series, will be the first release in the Chou Mashin series, with its full product details expected to be revealed tomorrow (the 20th).
