Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS collectors division, known for its premium "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" line featuring metallic finishes and die-cast frames, today announced the release of the protagonist's successor unit from "Super Robot Wars 30," the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) Huckebein 30th." Following the Huckebein 30, this new figure is slated for a July 2022 release and will be available exclusively as a Tamashii Web Exclusive.
The PT-XXXth Huckebein 30th is an enhanced form of the original protagonist unit, the Huckebein 30, from "Super Robot Wars 30," designed by renowned mechanical designer Hajime Katoki. This upgraded version restores the Huckebein's original appearance by removing external armor seals and incorporates a Black Hole Engine and a rear-mounted high-mobility flight unit. New armaments include the Twin Graviton Rifles and the Black Hole Cannon, with the "Full Impact Black Hole Cannon"—a simultaneous discharge of all three weapons—boasting immense destructive power.
The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) Huckebein 30th" utilizes the Huckebein series' existing frame, faithfully recreating the standard Huckebein silhouette. It features a vibrant, multi-color paint scheme and intricate body markings, resulting in a wealth of mechanical detail.
A newly sculpted high-mobility flight unit is added to the back, while the wing sections reuse parts from the standard Huckebein, featuring deployment mechanisms and internal micro-missiles. The two Graviton Rifles are connected by multi-axis movable supports, allowing for extensive rotation to recreate the dynamic "Full Impact Black Hole Cannon" special attack pose.
Furthermore, both Graviton Rifles can be mounted on the arms for firing. A new METAL ROBOT SPIRITS original gimmick allows the two rifles to be combined, enabling display in a shooting stance reminiscent of Wing Gundam Zero's iconic Twin Buster Rifle pose.
The product also includes a mask part for the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Huckebein 30," allowing collectors to recreate the "XXX" mask design from before its seal was released.
