Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the highly articulated 'NXEDGE STYLE' series, known for its sharp sculpting and unique proportions, today announced the release of the first product from 'Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryujinmaru,' the "Sword King Ryujinmaru," slated for May 2022.
Sword King Ryujinmaru is a heavily armored knight form achieved through "Super Power Transformation" when Ryujinmaru utilizes the magatama power of the "Black Steel Sword King" from the Third World Layer. Clad in heavy black iron armor and a red cape, its right hand merges with the Ultimate Sword, wielding the "Sword King Dragon Sword" capable of cleaving through space. This form is the most frequently appearing and relatively popular form in the series.
The "NXEDGE STYLE Sword King Ryujinmaru" faithfully recreates its full heavy armor through sophisticated sculpting and a striking black and gold paint finish. The "Sword King Dragon Sword" on its right wrist boasts an impressive size, longer than the main body itself, and a metallic texture. The vibrant red cape on its back features articulated bases, allowing for angle adjustments to suit various poses.
Furthermore, the accessories include the "Sword of the Sword King," which not only allows for recreating the scene of its descent from the heavens during transformation, but can also be equipped by the "Super Mashin Ryujinmaru" to be released later.
