BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations, known for its S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line which sculpts figures from the skeletal structure to capture the true heroic form and natural articulation, has announced the release of the limited-edition "Kamen Rider OOO Burakawani Combo." This unique form, featured in the movie "Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals," is slated for a May 2022 release.
In the film "Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: The Shogun and the 21 Core Medals," where he co-starred with Ken Matsudaira as the Abareru Shogun, Kamen Rider OOO transforms into the Indian-inspired "Burakawani" Reptile Combo. This transformation is achieved using the three Core Medals—Cobra, Kame (Turtle), and Wani (Crocodile)—prepared by Tokugawa Yoshimune for the Tokugawa clan. This form features sturdy turtle shell shields on its arms, the ability to slither across the ground like a snake, and powerful crocodile-tooth exoskeletons on its legs to deliver devastating finishing moves.
Interestingly, shortly after the movie's release, Ken Matsudaira, who played Tokugawa Yoshimune (the Abareru Shogun), unveiled his new single, "Matsuken Maharaja." In the music video, he donned a dazzling Indian outfit and sang an Indian-style tune, bearing a striking resemblance to the Burakawani Combo's design. This clearly highlights the promotional significance of this particular form.
The S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO Burakawani Combo utilizes the established Shinkocchou Seihou OOO series body, faithfully recreating the physique of the suit actor from the show. It meticulously sculpts intricate details such as the snake head, turtle shell arms, crocodile tooth legs, and chest emblem. The transformation belt can also accommodate the three Core Medals, replicating the in-show transformation mechanism. Accessories include the "Burahngi" (Snake Flute) and a "Medal Holder" seen in the film, along with various interchangeable hand parts.
Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Abareru Shogun" to recreate their iconic battle scenes from the movie!
