Kotobukiya, the Japanese toy company behind the popular "Frame Arms Girl" plastic model kit series, recently announced a special edition, the "Durga-I Darkness Queen Ver." This Amazon.co.jp exclusive follows the standard Durga-I release, with pre-orders scheduled to open on November 26th at 12:00 PM JST.
The "Frame Arms Girl Durga I" design is based on the "NSG-Z0/E Durga I," a base defense Frame Arms unit from the Lunar Base Faction in Kotobukiya's "Frame Arms" model kit series. Reimagined as a beautiful girl by Eiji Komatsu, she retains the original heavy armor aesthetic. This limited edition not only features new molding colors for its interchangeable parts but also includes various new components and specially colored M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) weapon parts, such as the "EX Armor E-Type" and "Tsuruichi Scepter." These allow collectors to assemble her in a majestic "Darkness Queen" form, complete with a crown, long skirt, and high heels.
The kit comes with three new face parts to capture the queen's proud and charming personality. New waterslide decals are also included to recreate the intricate golden patterns across her body. Furthermore, her equipment can be reconfigured to match the standard Durga I's appearance, allowing for a "Black Knight" pose interwoven with striking red, black, and gold accents.
