Japan's renowned toy brand MEDICOM TOY (メディコム・トイ) is set to release the hilarious and adorable third wave of its "Ultra Detail Figure" (UDF) line, "UDF TOM AND JERRY SERIES 3." Following the successful first and second series based on the classic animated "Tom and Jerry," this new collection features five figures, slated for release in June 2022.
Created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the animated series "Tom and Jerry" is a timeless classic cherished by many during their childhood. The show centers on the comedic antics of Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse, constantly chasing, fighting, and getting into hilarious scrapes. Its memorable charm comes from the use of high-quality classical and jazz music to replace dialogue, relying solely on the score and character movements to tell its stories.
The third wave, "UDF TOM AND JERRY SERIES 3," brings to life Tom and Jerry's iconic, comically distorted forms from their endless chases and attacks. Numbered No.666 to No.670, these five figures capture their irregular, hilarious shapes: "TOM (Runaway to Glass cup)" squeezed into a glass, the incredibly funny "TOM (Bowling pins)" shaped like ten bowling pins, the crumpled "TOM (Sudden stop)," "TOM (Head in the shape of the pan) and JERRY (In the Vinyl Hose)," and "JERRY (Sausage)" after swallowing an entire sausage! Their outrageous shapes and amusing expressions are simply too cute – "Tom and Jerry" fans won't want to miss out on these delightful figures!
