Japanese figure manufacturer Max Factory is set to release a 1/7 scale figure of the incredibly popular captain, Houshou Marine, from the super popular VTuber group "hololive production" and hololive's 3rd Generation! The figure is priced at 29,800 JPY and is slated for release in December 2022.
As a member of hololive's 3rd Generation (hololive Fantasy), Houshou Marine's lore states she's a girl who loves gems, treasures, and money, aiming to become a pirate to seek out riches. To afford her own pirate ship and set sail, she's currently working as a VTuber on land. Her usual demeanor and speech often reveal her deep otaku background, leading fans to frequently question and joke about her official age of 17.
