The Japanese toy brand ELECTRIC TOYS, through its new sofubi brand "SOFVIPS" (ソフビップス), is set to release a vinyl figure of the familiar Sonic the Hedgehog. This time, however, the release features the transformed version, "Super Sonic". It was scheduled for release in April 2022.
SEGA's iconic superstar, Sonic the Hedgehog, is renowned for his incredible speed. The "Super Sonic" (SUPER SONIC) transformation first appeared in the game "Sonic the Hedgehog 2." By collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic transforms, his entire body glowing golden, and his speed reaching light speed. In this state, Sonic becomes incredibly powerful, invincible, and even gains the ability to fly.
This SOFVIPS Super Sonic figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It features his signature golden hue from his transformation, replacing his usual blue. His iconic white gloves and red shoes remain unchanged. With a stoic expression, the transformed Sonic exudes an even greater sense of power and presence.
