Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) recently announced an exciting new product that has collectors buzzing: the "Tatung Rice Cooker Miniature Collection" capsule toys! These are slated for a March 2022 release.

The "Tatung Rice Cooker," produced by Taiwan's Tatung Company, is a decades-old classic appliance renowned for its affordability and durability. While a staple for cooking rice in many homes, it has also gained significant popularity in Japan for its incredible versatility, capable of preparing a wide array of dishes using various cooking methods. Its recipes are particularly beloved by students. Kenelephant's new "Tatung Rice Cooker Capsule Toys" collection features a total of six styles. These include two distinct versions – a Taiwanese edition and a Japanese edition – available in five vibrant colors. The Taiwanese versions come in classic vermilion and emerald green, while the Japanese versions offer ocher, white, and light blue. Collectors will definitely want to snag those iconic vermilion and emerald green models!
Each capsule includes the main Tatung Rice Cooker body, an inner pot, an inner pot lid, a steaming plate, a measuring cup, and a rice scoop.
