Japan's Sentinel Co., Ltd., in collaboration with renowned Japanese animator and mechanical designer Masami Obari, today announced the latest addition to their popular die-cast toy series, "METAMOR-FORCE “BARI”ATION," from "Gravion." The new product, "Ultimate Gravion," is slated for release in June 2022.
Ultimate Gravion is the most powerful form, achieved in the anime's final episode through the "Final Gattai" (Ultimate Combination) of Sol Gravion and God Sigma Gravion. This ultimate combination retains all the armaments of its pre-combined forms, boasts significantly enhanced combat power, and can accumulate Graviton energy to unleash its devastating special attack, the "Choujuu Enou Zan," capable of destroying an entire planet in a single strike.
The "METAMOR-FORCE “BARI”ATION Ultimate Gravion" set includes a redesigned core "Gravion God" unit, optimized for this specific combination, along with entirely new parts for the "Ultimate Gravion Combination." Compared to its anime counterpart, the re-engineered combination structure is more logical, and the figure features a heavy, metallic paint finish that enhances its premium feel.
Once combined, the "Ultimate Gravion" boasts an impressive range of articulation, allowing collectors to recreate its signature "Choujuu Enou Zan" special attack pose using the Super Heavy Sword in its left hand. Furthermore, Masami Obari himself designed an exclusive new weapon for the toy that never appeared in the anime: the "Choujuu Dangai Ken" (Super Heavy Judgment Sword), a massive and imposing blade that matches the figure's impressive scale!
