Japanese company Prime 1 Studio is set to release a character set from the popular classic video game "Resident Evil 2 Remake" (Bio Hazard RE:2), featuring three main characters, under its adorable doll-style product line "Cutie1 Plus". The set is scheduled for release between November 2022 and January 2023.
Capcom's "Resident Evil 2" originally launched on the PlayStation console in 1998, pioneering a dual-protagonist, interwoven storyline that earned widespread acclaim from players. A completely new remake was released in 2019, reimagining characters like Leon and Claire with fresh designs and incorporating additional storylines for the Fourth Survivor and other supporting characters. This remake also achieved impressive sales figures.
These Cutie1 Plus mini-figures from Prime 1 Studio reinterpret the designs of the three main characters—Leon, Claire, and Hunk—in a unique, voodoo doll-like style. They are incredibly cute and fun, yet still capture the essence of the original game. For "Resident Evil" fans, this set is definitely worth checking out.
