Japanese toy manufacturer BRIGHT LINK (株式会社ブライトリンク), under its Gachat (ガチャっと！) capsule toy brand, is set to release the "Gal-folded Paper Crane" (ギャルが折った鶴) capsule toy, a product so perplexing it will make you question what you're even looking at! These avant-garde origami creations will be available in five unique styles, priced at 300 JPY per turn, and are slated for release in March 2022.
Each "Gal-folded Paper Crane" capsule toy is meticulously hand-folded, faithfully replicating the distinct style of paper cranes crafted by Japanese "gals." Thanks to their signature long nails and casual folding techniques, these cranes boast a truly unique appearance—some are so abstract, you might not even recognize them as origami! All five variations promise a blend of handmade surprise (and perhaps a little shock), and each even includes full-motion footage capturing the gals in the act of folding!
