BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division, is once again expanding its "PROPLICA" series, which utilizes the latest technology to faithfully recreate props from various series. Following the release of the "Nichirin Blade (Kyojuro Rengoku)," they are now set to release the latest "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" item: the PROPLICA Broken Nichirin Blade (Kyojuro Rengoku)! Priced at 8,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in May 2022.

The "PROPLICA Battle-Damaged Broken Nichirin Blade (Kyojuro Rengoku)" meticulously pursues a realistic, true-to-life appearance. It is also crafted at a 1:1 scale. Beyond faithfully recreating signature features of Rengoku's Nichirin Blade, such as the flame-shaped tsuba and the textured stitching on the hilt, this new release presents the forged blade, inscribed with "Demon Slayer," in a dramatically battle-damaged and broken form. The coloring of the broken cross-section is also realistically reproduced, with the blade measuring approximately 31 cm in length.

This battle-damaged broken blade version also comes equipped with a sound playback function. It includes dialogue from his childhood with his mother Ruka Rengoku, famous lines from the fierce battle between Rengoku and Akaza, Flame Breathing techniques, and slashing sound effects. Additionally, it features a rich selection of sounds, including the TV anime "Mugen Train Arc" theme song "Akeboshi -TV ver.-." Displayed on its dedicated stand, it powerfully evokes a sense of tragedy and heroism.
