Japanese company Aniplex, following their Caster/Artoria Caster figure, has announced a new product from the popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order": the "Caster/Artoria Caster (Third Ascension) 1/7 Scale Figure," slated for release in July 2023.
Unlike the traditional King of Knights who pulled the Sword in the Stone, Caster Artoria is a fairy girl chosen by the "Staff of Selection" in the British Lostbelt, destined to be the Child of Prophecy who saves the Fairy Kingdom. She is a pure-hearted, diligent girl capable of wielding various forms of magic. After encountering the protagonist, who lost their memory upon arriving in the Lostbelt, she embarks on a pilgrimage, gradually uncovering Artoria's true mission as the "Fairy of the Sacred Mountain."
The "Caster/Artoria Caster (Third Ascension) 1/7 Scale Figure" is meticulously crafted based on her Third Ascension illustration from the game. Standing an impressive 34 cm tall, the figure captures her true majestic and regal presence, showcasing a calm and mature demeanor that contrasts with her previously innocent, girlish appearance. The massive Holy Sword, transformed from the "Staff of Selection" in her hand, features intricate structural patterns and a gorgeous gold paint finish. Several sharp swords float gracefully beside her, rendered in clear material, giving the overall sculpt an incredibly dynamic and powerful aura.
