Bandai's Gashapon division in Japan is rolling out a new, hilariously melancholic series of capsule toys titled "Just One Step Away" (あといっぽ). Featuring popular animals, this collection includes five different types, priced at 300 JPY per play, and was originally slated for release in December 2021.
The Gashapon "Just One Step Away" animal capsule toys capture the animals' profound regret and subtle sadness in a humanized kneeling pose, with one hand on the ground and the other bracing against a wall. This creates a comically desperate yet endearing atmosphere! The lineup features five adorable yet heartbroken creatures: a Bear, a Japanese Macaque, a Himalayan Red Panda, a Cat, and a Rabbit. Beyond their dejected backs, the figures also boast hilariously miserable expressions on their fronts, making them perfect for depicting relatable scenarios like missing store hours or failing to snag a limited-edition toy!
