With the release of Netflix's live-action "Cowboy Bebop" series, Japanese toy company MEGAHOUSE is re-releasing their previously launched "Spike & Faye 1st GIG set" pre-painted PVC figure! The suggested retail price is 30,800 JPY, with an estimated shipping date in July 2022.
The original anime series "Cowboy Bebop" (カウボーイビバップ), co-produced by Sunrise and Bandai Visual, premiered in 1998. Directed by Shinichirō Watanabe with music by Yoko Kanno, the story is set in the near future of 2071. It follows the small bounty hunter crew of the 'Bebop' led by Spike Spiegel and Jet, who, after being joined by the con artist Faye Valentine, roam the vast cosmos apprehending fugitives. The series masterfully blends elements of Westerns, space opera, martial arts, and jazz, cementing its status as a classic in both Japanese and Western animation markets.
