When it comes to iconic vehicles from "The Mandalorian" series, the first thing that likely springs to mind for most collectors is the Razor Crest, piloted by the protagonist Din Djarin. Following the release of the approximately 1,000-piece "75292 The Razor Crest," LEGO is now bringing the ship back in a miniature Microfighter format, designated as set 75321.
The Microfighter series is a fun line that reinterprets classic "Star Wars" vehicles using around 100 pieces. It features everything from fan favorites like the Millennium Falcon, X-wing Starfighter, and TIE Fighter, to the Republic Gunship and AT-AT. The series even expanded to include memorable creatures like the Dewback and Bantha. This new "75321 The Razor Crest" set comprises 98 pieces. While some of the ship's lines have been modified to accommodate the included Mandalorian minifigure, it still retains the distinctive silhouette of the Razor Crest. The front of the ship also features a stud shooter, making it a great set for play or for displaying alongside your larger 75292 model.
I personally believe the Microfighter series isn't just perfect for kids; adult LEGO fans will find them highly collectible too! Not only do they offer a sense of completion for the series, but their mini size means they won't take up too much display space. Plus, who doesn't love a minifigure paired with an iconic vehicle?
