This 264-piece set uses a variety of green bricks and multiple tentacle elements to construct Gargantos, the octopus-like sea monster from Marvel lore commanded by the Lemurian king, Naga. The included minifigures feature the heroes battling the beast: Doctor Strange, Wong, and America Chavez (also known as Miss America), a prominent Latina and LGBTQ+ character. With "Showdown" in the set's name, could this be a hint that Gargantos is the main villain of the film?
However, compared to the comic book depiction of Gargantos, this LEGO model bears a striking resemblance to another character many fans have speculated will be the true villain of "Doctor Strange 2": the Cthulhu-inspired Great Old One, Shuma-Gorath. In any case, we're eagerly awaiting the film's scheduled release to find out for sure!
