GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the Japanese manufacturer behind the popular Q-version articulated figure series "Nendoroid," recently announced the upcoming release of "Sakura Kagamihara" from the hit manga "Laid-Back Camp△," slated for September 2022.
"Laid-Back Camp△" (Yuru Camp△) is a manga series by Japanese artist Afro, serialized in Houbunsha's "Manga Time Kirara Forward" magazine. Its popularity surged after the TV anime adaptation premiered in January 2018. The story begins with Rin Shima, a girl who loves solo camping, encountering Nadeshiko Kagamihara at Lake Motosu. Nadeshiko, who rode her bicycle to see Mt. Fuji but overslept and couldn't go home, becomes friends with Rin, and the series depicts the camping adventures of a group of high school girls who love the outdoors.
This latest Nendoroid release features Nadeshiko's mature and dependable older sister, Sakura Kagamihara. The adorable Q-version sculpt faithfully recreates her winter outfit, complete with swept-back bangs and black-rimmed glasses. She comes with two interchangeable face plates: a "smiling face" and an "angry face," perfectly capturing her sometimes strict, sometimes gentle demeanor towards her younger sister.
Her accessories include a "mug with tea" and a "smartphone." She also comes with "crossed arm parts" and "hands-in-pockets arm parts," along with a "crying face" specifically for use with the Nendoroid Nadeshiko Kagamihara, allowing fans to recreate fun interaction scenes between the sisters!
