Queen Studios Unleashes Epic Lord of the Rings Balrog Bust, Towering at 164cm Tall!

Queen Studios, the manufacturer known for capturing character essence with stunningly detailed, large-scale statues, has just unveiled its latest masterpiece from "The Lord of the Rings": the Balrog Bust! The release will feature two distinct sizes: the absolutely massive Polda version and the relatively more compact Cinta version, both scheduled to ship in the third quarter of 2022.

Among the many foes encountered by the Fellowship of the Ring in the film "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," the most terrifying and powerful was undoubtedly the Balrog from the Mines of Moria. In the lore, the Balrog was originally a Maiar, the same order of beings as Saruman and Gandalf, but was corrupted into serving Morgoth. After Morgoth's defeat, the Balrog lay dormant in the depths of Khazad-dûm. However, as time passed, it was awakened by the Dwarves who dug too greedily and too deep for Mithril, becoming the nightmare of Durin's Folk. The Balrog is known by many names, including the Balrog of Moria, the Flame of Udûn, and Durin's Bane.

This Balrog bust is set to captivate "Lord of the Rings" fans with its two main selling points: an incredibly detailed sculpt and an immense presence. While the Cinta version is smaller, it still stands at an impressive 61 cm tall. The Polda version, however, is a colossal 164 cm—the height of a full-grown adult! The sculpt meticulously details the Balrog's head and menacing, curved horns. Compared to previously released Balrog statues and action figures, Queen Studios' paint application on the horn tips, teeth, and mouth appears to have a more authentic "bone" texture, evoking the aura of an ancient beast. Paired with its diorama base and light-up features, the bust perfectly recreates the Balrog's boundless fury!

It's worth noting that the Polda version also offers a baseless option, allowing collectors to mount the 94 cm tall Balrog head directly on a wall for an absolutely awesome display! The Cinta version, however, is only available with the included base.
