Taiwanese toy design company Asmus Toys recently unveiled their latest release from CAPCOM's action-adventure game "DEVIL MAY CRY 3": the Dante 1/6 scale collectible action figure. Available in both Standard and Luxury Editions, the figure is currently open for pre-order on their official website and is expected to ship in Q2 2022.
The protagonist of the "Devil May Cry" series, Dante, is a half-human, half-demon born to the legendary demon swordsman Sparda and a human woman named Eva. He also has a twin brother, Vergil. On the surface, he runs an odd-job agency called "Devil May Cry," but secretly, he's a "Devil Hunter" who deals with unruly demons. While he often appears disheveled, his demon-slaying skills are absolutely top-tier. Throughout the series, he utilizes a wide array of demonic weapons and artifacts for his unrestrained combat style, and can even activate "Devil Trigger" to unleash his inner demonic power.
Asmus Toys once again brings us the "Dante" 1/6 scale collectible action figure, standing approximately 31 cm (12.2 inches) tall and featuring 32 points of articulation. A newly sculpted head sculpt faithfully recreates Dante's iconic look from "Devil May Cry 3," complete with his silver-white hair and piercing blue eyes. Beneath his signature fabric-tailored red trench coat, his muscular physique is impressively rendered, complemented by edgy leather belts and black leather pants. The Standard Edition comes equipped with an open-mouthed shouting battle head sculpt, his iconic twin pistols "Ebony & Ivory," the greatsword "Rebellion," and a rocket launcher, among other accessories.
The Luxury Edition, on the other hand, includes a comprehensive arsenal, truly bringing Dante back with his full armory! This deluxe set features the twin swords Agni & Rudra, Cerberus (the three-headed nunchaku), Nevan (the electric guitar that transforms into a scythe), a double-barreled shotgun, and a weapon rack, allowing collectors to recreate iconic in-game scenes!
