Following its highly popular and appetite-inducing Kaitai Puzzle Series, which previously featured the Yakiniku Puzzle, Bluefin Tuna, Snow Crab, and Genghis Khan Lamb, Japanese toy company Megahouse is now breaking away from food themes to introduce the "Mammoth Restoration 3D Puzzle"! This unique puzzle was released in late March 2022, with a suggested retail price of 1,980 JPY.
The "Kaitai Puzzle" series (解体パズル) offers an engaging way to learn about biological structures through an interactive puzzle game. Each entry in the series disassembles delicious meats or organs into individual parts, with every section clearly labeled. This design allows players to gain a clear understanding of anatomical names and the distribution of various components within the subject.
The "Kaitai Puzzle: Mammoth Restoration" measures approximately 16 cm long, 12 cm wide, and 5 cm high when fully assembled. Comprising 37 parts, it not only captures the distinctive external characteristics of a mammoth, such as its upward-curving tusks and long brown fur, but also cleverly depicts the internal bone structure and organs. Collectors can freely assemble and appreciate both the half-dissected skeletal model and the complete living form.
