Following the releases of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo from the "Jujutsu Kaisen" series, Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line, known for its exquisite anime and game character figures, is now releasing the "ARTFX J Yuta Okkotsu Jujutsu Kaisen 0 ver." 1/8 scale figure! This highly anticipated collectible, based on "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," is a TOHO animation STORE exclusive. It is priced at 12,540 JPY and is scheduled for release in late August 2022.
"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" is a prequel to the main "Jujutsu Kaisen" story, adapted from the manga "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College." The film centers on Yuta Okkotsu, a character frequently mentioned in the anime series. Yuta is haunted by the special grade cursed spirit of his childhood friend, Rika, leading to abnormal events constantly occurring around him. With the help of Jujutsu Sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Yuta enrolls in Jujutsu High to learn how to control his powers and exorcise vengeful spirits. The "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons," teased in the trailers, is also a major highlight of the movie.
▼ The film was released in Japan on December 24, 2021.
The "ARTFX J Yuta Okkotsu Jujutsu Kaisen 0 ver." 1/8 scale figure faithfully recreates Yuta's appearance from the animated film, standing at approximately 175mm tall. The figure captures the innocent-looking Yuta, dressed in his loose white top, gripping his katana with both hands. Despite the deep dark circles under his eyes, he exudes a formidable fighting spirit! The base features an irregular, paint-splattered design, perfectly evoking the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen," and is designed to be displayed alongside other figures in the series!
