Following the release of the first key visual for the theatrical film "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero," Bandai Spirits, under its popular S.H.Figuarts line, has officially unveiled a new action figure: the "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku SUPER HERO." This highly anticipated collectible will retail for 3,850 JPY and is slated for release in May 2022.
"Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" marks the 21st theatrical film in the Dragon Ball series and the second animated movie in the "Dragon Ball Super" saga. Original creator Akira Toriyama took charge of the script, contributing to the story, character designs, and dialogue. One of the film's most significant features is its presentation with full CG effects, promising an immersive viewing experience for fans.
The S.H.Figuarts Son Goku SUPER HERO action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall and features newly sculpted face parts that perfectly capture his appearance from the "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" trailer! These include a confident (looking left) smile, a battle-ready shouting face, and a vividly exaggerated surprised face, all rendered with delicate manga-style lines. The orange gi's color has also been subtly altered based on the in-film character design, presenting a more refined and textured hue. The figure comes complete with three interchangeable left wrist parts and four right wrist parts, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic poses such as the Kamehameha and Instant Transmission.
