Following the release of the first key visual for the "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" movie, Bandai Spirits' popular S.H.Figuarts line has unveiled its latest addition: the "S.H.Figuarts Vegeta SUPER HERO" action figure. Priced at 3,850 JPY, it was slated for release in June 2022.
"Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" is the 21st film in the Dragon Ball series and the second animated movie under the "Dragon Ball Super" banner. Original creator Akira Toriyama was deeply involved, handling the script and contributing to the story, character designs, and dialogue. A major highlight of this film is its presentation with full CG effects, promising an immersive viewing experience for fans.
The "S.H.Figuarts Vegeta SUPER HERO" action figure stands approximately 13.5 cm tall. It features newly sculpted face parts that faithfully recreate Vegeta's character design from "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero." His battle suit now sports a more subdued, dark blue undershirt, with noticeably more defined musculature in the arms, legs, and chest. The face sculpt also incorporates additional manga-style line details, giving his expressions a more authentic, original feel. The figure comes with a rich assortment of interchangeable expressions, including the Saiyan Prince's signature tsundere grin, a serious pursed lip, a battle shout, and a gritted teeth expression. Combined with various interchangeable hand parts, collectors can vividly recreate a wide range of the Prince's iconic poses.
