BS STUDIO utilizes 3D printing technology, which circumvents the high thresholds, minimum quantities, and expensive startup costs associated with traditional mold-making for figures. The 3D-printed prototypes undergo meticulous sanding and processing to achieve a final quality that rivals that of PVC toys.
▼The process involves sculpting a 2D character concept into a 3D model. The final 3D data must capture the original artwork's overall silhouette and body curves while adhering to the physical requirements of production, all to create a model that is true to the "spirit of the original."
