Hong Kong toy brand BigBoyToys, known for its "Bulkyz Collection" series of articulated figures featuring imposing sculpts and large-scale designs, recently unveiled its latest "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" entry at TOYSOUL 2021 in Hong Kong: the iconic villain Krang! The figure is slated for an official release in 2022.
While the revealed "Bulkyz Collection Krang" prototype remains unpainted, its substantial and imposing sculpt is incredibly exciting. Based on the animated series' design, designer @foons_creations has reinterpreted Krang with his distinctive style, creating an incredibly powerful-looking figure. Boasting spiked shoulder pads, massive hands, and an incredibly stable lower body, he looks like an unyielding steel fortress! His distinct, upward-angled head seems to haughtily look down upon his foes, giving the entire piece immense charisma. Furthermore, the designer's post even shows him holding Krang's brain-like true form in his hand – it's incredibly fierce and cool!
▼ In related news, TOYSOUL 2021 also showcased new "Bulkyz Collection Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" figures, standing approximately 18 cm tall and featuring varied paint styles (The previously released Bulkyz Collection TMNT figures were around 32 cm tall).
