Japanese figure manufacturer WING recently announced the upcoming release of their latest product, the "SAMURAI 1/7 Scale Figure," based on illustrator neco's original "FALSLANDER" series. It is slated for a September 2022 release.
"FALSLANDER" is an original illustration series by artist neco, first published in July 2019. Continuing the "armed girls" theme from previous series like "Heavily Armed High School Girls" and "A-Z," it combines cold, hard "machinery" with delicate, endearing "beautiful girls." This three-dimensional rendition of "SAMURAI" is based on an illustration neco released in August 2019. The 1/7 scale figure meticulously recreates her design, which blends traditional Japanese samurai armor characteristics with a sleek black bodysuit. It captures her tall, slender, and graceful physique, along with the sharp details of her armor, katana, and the intricate straps adorning her entire body. Beyond faithfully reproducing the stunning back view from the illustration, the mask and headgear are also detachable, allowing collectors to admire her frontal pose, which was not visible in the original artwork.
