Taiwanese toy design company Asmus Toys recently unveiled its latest product from the epic fantasy masterpiece "The Lord of the Rings": the Nazgûl 1/6 scale collectible figure, returning in an all-new upgraded version! Shipping is estimated for Q2 2022.
The Nazgûl, servants of the Dark Lord Sauron, made a terrifying debut in "The Fellowship of the Ring" with their ethereal, horrifying forms and piercing screams, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. Among these nine Ringwraiths, it is said that several were once powerful human kings. While the power of the Nine Rings initially granted them immense wealth and glory, these very rings eventually led to their subjugation by Sauron, who forged the One Ring, transforming them into his most evil and fearsome minions. In the Black Speech of Mordor, they are known as "Nazgûl."
This new version of the Nazgûl stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 32 points of articulation. Its aggressive, sharply sculpted armor is crafted from alloy material, meticulously detailed with realistic weathering and rust effects. Combined with the layered fabric black cloak, the figure perfectly captures the terrifying aura the Nazgûl exude in the films. To support the substantial weight of the alloy armor, Asmus Toys has utilized a Coo Model articulated figure body. Accessories include the Nazgûl Sword, Morgul-blade, and Witch-king's Sword, all made from alloy and complete with scabbards.
