This custom project features an early release from Bandai's Figuarts Zero One Piece line: the Warlord of the Sea, Donquixote Doflamingo
.
As an older product, it looks a bit plain by today's standards. Its proportions also seemed off, with an arm span that looked almost equal to its height, and it lacked the long legs and cool, swaggering vibe from the anime.
Therefore, the main focus of this customization was to increase its height and replace that inaccurate face sculpt!

First, I swapped out the original head sculpt for a 3D-printed one. After adjusting the connection between the head and neck, I also reshaped the musculature. The coat's hem was subtly extended as well. The intricate production process won't be detailed here, so let's jump straight to the finished product!

In addition to a subtle 10mm height increase at the waist, the connection between the calves and pant legs was also extended by 15mm. This boosted the figure's original 175mm height to a commanding 200mm.
Since the standing pose's angle changed after the height modification, transparent parts were created and installed on the soles of the feet to ensure stability.
For the paint job, the color scheme of the P.O.P. (Portrait.Of.Pirates) line was referenced!
Doesn't the finished piece exude incredible flair?
