Bandai's Gashapon division is set to release a hilarious new lineup of "Animal Globe" (アニマル球儀) capsule toys, combining cute animals with the classic globe concept. This series features five different designs, with each capsule priced at 300 JPY. They were originally released in late December 2021.
The "Animal Globe" capsule toys transform various animals into spherical shapes, mounted on stands and tilted slightly, just like a traditional globe. This creates a subtly humorous and utterly charming display! The initial lineup of animal globes includes a Hedgehog, Rabbit, Elephant, Cat, and Pug, with the largest figures measuring up to 68 mm! Each features slightly innocent, watery eyes paired with a delightfully peculiar design. The meticulous sculpting even captures details like their limbs tucked into a ball, revealing a tiny pink backside! These make for a truly unique and whimsical desk ornament.
