Hiya Toys, a toy manufacturer renowned for its 1/18 scale articulated figures from franchises like "Predator" and "Alien," recently unveiled a brand-new line of non-articulated collectibles: the "Stylist Series." Kicking off the series are two impressive new figures from "Godzilla vs. Kong": Godzilla and Kong! Both are slated for a June 2022 release.
Crafted from PVC, the non-articulated Stylist Series Godzilla and Kong figures boast exceptional detail reproduction. Godzilla stands approximately 19 cm tall, while the dynamic leaping Kong figure measures about 26 cm (including the display stand). Let's take a closer look at Godzilla first! This rendition perfectly captures the Legendary Godzilla's bulky physique, dark, rough-textured skin, and accurately sculpted dorsal fins. Gradient coloring and intricate sculpting give the figure a powerful, organic feel. The overall pose shows him looking up and forward, making it a perfect companion piece for the simultaneously released Kong, but also an impressive standalone display.
Next up is Kong. In contrast to Godzilla's imposing weight and unshakeable presence, Kong is designed in a furious, dynamic pose, wielding his axe with both hands, ready to strike downwards. Beyond the highly detailed fur texture, wrinkled feet, and roaring expression, the figure also features realistic depictions of his chest scars, stained teeth, and the distinct textures of his axe. The only minor point of contention might be the base itself, but that's a small detail.
