Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, is expanding its "Gundam Military Generation" (G.M.G.) series of "Mobile Suit Gundam" soldier action figures. Following releases like the "Principality of Zeon General Soldier 01~03" and "General Pilot Suit Soldier & Char Aznable," the line now introduces new 1/18 scale action figures: "07 Principality of Zeon Ramba Ral & Crowley Hamon" and "08 General Soldier & Zeon Military Motorcycle." The Premium Bandai (PB) exclusive set is priced at 13,728 JPY and is slated for release in late June 2022.
The fifth wave of the G.M.G. series focuses on the "Blue Giant," Ramba Ral, with the "07 Principality of Zeon Ramba Ral" 1/18 scale action figure. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates Ramba Ral's slightly portly, middle-aged physique and his iconic blue Zeon military uniform. In addition to a stern expression, it includes two interchangeable face plates—one with a suspicious look and another with a hearty laugh—along with a Navan 62-type pistol and multiple interchangeable hand parts. His elegant lover, Crowley Hamon (Hamon-san), is included as a non-articulated figure, but comes with interchangeable right shoulder parts to display two different poses (and can also be combined with the head parts from separately sold G.M.G. female soldiers) to recreate memorable scenes with the "Blue Giant."
Additionally, the "08 General Soldier & Zeon Military Motorcycle" 1/18 scale action figure features a medium-build male soldier. It comes with a standard face, an interchangeable head with a wrapped bandana, and two additional head sculpts from Ramba Ral's team: one of Zeigun's bare face and another with goggles, allowing for four distinct looks. This figure perfectly complements the included motorcycle. The set also includes a Navan 62-type pistol, a service shotgun, a communication device, various straps, a pistol holster, and interchangeable wrist parts to recreate desert reconnaissance scenes.
The "G.M.G. Principality of Zeon V-01 Zeon Military Motorcycle" marks the series' first vehicle release. Designed to pair with 1/18 scale action figures, it features rotating front and rear wheels, a movable kickstand, and steerable handlebars, allowing for various dynamic riding poses. The small Zeon emblem adds a cool yet charming touch. (Sold separately for 5,478 JPY).
