It's been a while since my last build, and I didn't expect my first project of the year to be this Omegamon.
Compared to the Gallantmon kit, this one was much simpler to build. The legs didn't even require seam line removal, making for a quick and enjoyable process.
For this project, I went with a full repaint, mainly to experiment with the metallic purple effect I'd developed for my custom MG Hi-Nu Gundam. My next build will likely be the MG Virtue Gundam, if all goes as planned.

▼ For this build, I exclusively used Gaia Notes paints. This particular series is now banned from import and sale in Taiwan, but I still have a large stock to get through before I can switch to another brand. I imagine it'll be quite some time before I run out, though! XD
▼ For primer, I used three different types: silver, black, and gray, from left to right. As for EX-02, that was, of course, used for spraying the metallic colors.
▼ The images below show the kit after priming. You can fast-forward through the video for a clearer look.
▼ I repainted the weapons, as I wasn't a fan of the original colors. I opted for the "Hi-Nu purple" I'll be using on an upcoming build this year.
The layering technique was different this time; instead of simply applying clear purple, I used a base red to overlay the clear purple, which produced this unique effect.
▼ The other weapon parts also received a repaint, though without any significant alterations from their original design.

▼ As for the white parts, there's not much to add; I used my usual method of pearl powder mixed with clear gloss coat.
▼ This kit is massive, nearly twice the size of Gallantmon. The photo below shows it before attaching the cape.
▼ With the cape attached, the coolness factor is instantly amplified!
▼ In terms of articulation, this Omegamon X-Antibody Amplified kit feels even more dynamic and impressive than Gallantmon! XD

This kit offers incredible playability, primarily because you can swap weapons from other kits in the entire series onto Omegamon! XD
Building this was much more enjoyable than Gallantmon; not only is it larger in scale, but the key advantage is that the legs don't require seam line removal – a huge bonus!
Furthermore, if you have other Digimon kits from the same series, you can equip their weapons onto Omegamon according to the instructions, offering fantastic play value and a seriously cool look!
