Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mecha-focused brand, MECHA SMILE, hosted its new product showcase, "MECHA SMILE IMPACT," from the 14th to the 16th of this month. The event unveiled a wealth of the latest information on robot model products. This article will focus on the new additions to the "THE GATTAI" series, known for faithfully recreating in-show combination and transformation gimmicks!

・THE GATTAI Seven Changer
Following Da-Garn X and Ga-Ohn, the highly popular "Seven Changer" from "The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn" finally gets a product release in the THE GATTAI series! It boasts a complex and challenging fully transformable design, meticulously recreating all seven of its forms: robot, jet, submarine, trailer, tank, cheetah, and griffon, while maintaining the cool proportions of its robot mode.
The latest entries in THE GATTAI Brave Series, from "The Brave Express Might Gaine," are officially underway, with three new products currently in development unveiled at once: Might Gaine, Might Kaiser, and Might Gunner!
・THE GATTAI Might Gaine
This figure faithfully recreates the three-unit transformation and combination gimmick, with the main hero robot "Gaine" forming the left arm, "Might Wing" becoming the right arm, and the "Locomorizer" transforming into the body and head!
・THE GATTAI Might Kaiser
Experience the seven-unit transformation and combination of the Drill Express (Kaiser Drill + Kaiser Carrier + Kaiser 1-5)!
・THE GATTAI Might Gunner
This release recreates the single-unit triple transformation gimmick!
・THE GATTAI Dancouga
Headlining the lineup is "Dancouga," the massive robot from the anime "Super Beast Machine God Dancouga," known for its intricate transformation and combination mechanisms! Utilizing THE GATTAI's fully transformable design and HAGANE WORKS' die-cast metal construction, this figure is based on the latest design drafts by Masami Obari. It thoroughly recreates the three-stage transformation gimmicks for the "Eagle Fighter," "Land Liger," "Land Cougar," and "Big Moth" in their normal, beast, and robot modes. These four machines then combine to form an impressive 30 cm tall "Dancouga." The figure features articulated back cannons, a Daigan (Big Gun) combination gimmick, and individually articulated finger joints. It also comes with a dedicated display stand for weapons like the Dankuken (Dancouga Sword)!
Although this exhibition was primarily online, a dedicated venue was also prepared to display physical prototypes of the new products and previously released items, showcasing MECHA SMILE's growth trajectory!
