The LEGO Ideas series today unveiled its latest product, "21332 The Globe," set to release on February 1, 2022.
Comprising 2,585 pieces, the completed model stands an impressive 40 cm tall and measures 30 cm long. While LEGO's official redesign made only minor modifications to the original concept by Guillaume Roussel, it notably incorporates glow-in-the-dark printed elements for the continents and oceans. This allows fans to appreciate a different aesthetic once the lights are out. Official images also offer a glimpse into the Globe's hollow internal structure, building anticipation for the process of constructing the framework before adding the world's various landmasses and bodies of water.
Adding to the excitement, this LEGO Globe can actually rotate, just like a real-world globe – how cool is that! The stand features brown elements to replicate a wooden texture, accented with gold pieces for a premium touch. A nameplate on the base, emblazoned with "THE EARTH," provides a perfect finishing touch.
