APEX-TOYS, the toy brand under Shanghai Paces Cultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., is expanding its "Date A Live: Spirit Pledge" lineup with a new 1/7 scale figure: "Natsumi (New Year Cheongsam Ver.)." This follows their previous releases of Kurumi Tokisaki and Tohka Yatogami, based on the popular light novel-turned-mobile game. The figure is slated for release in December 2022.
A fan-favorite character from Koushi Tachibana's "Date A Live" light novel series, "Natsumi Kyouno" is the seventh Spirit Shido Itsuka encounters. Originally human, she lost her memories upon becoming a Spirit. With her Spirit powers, she can transform into a beautiful, large-chested girl with long green hair and emerald eyes, though her true form is that of a pale-skinned, dry-haired, and petite girl.
The "Natsumi (New Year Cheongsam Ver.)" 1/7 scale figure continues the aesthetic of previous releases, bringing to life a New Year illustration of Natsumi holding a round fan in one hand and a small mirror in the other. Standing approximately 16 cm tall, she wears a form-fitting New Year cheongsam that beautifully accentuates her graceful figure. Her fair skin, combined with the taut wrinkles across her chest and a semi-transparent scarf, along with her flushed cheeks and winking eye, create an alluring and charming overall appearance. The figure comes complete with a tatami mat base, red lanterns, and a pillow, perfectly capturing a relaxed, festive holiday atmosphere.
