Good Smile Company's affordable pre-painted figure series, "POP UP PARADE," is expanding its popular "Jujutsu Kaisen" lineup. Following the releases of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, the fifth entry, the "POP UP PARADE Kento Nanami" PVC figure, is now making its debut! Priced at 3,900 JPY, this figure is scheduled for release in June 2022.
Gege Akutami's manga series, "Jujutsu Kaisen" (呪術廻戦), began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2018 and saw a massive surge in popularity after its anime adaptation premiered in October 2020. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high schooler with superhuman physical abilities, who accidentally swallows a cursed object—the finger of Ryomen Sukuna—and becomes its vessel. He then joins Tokyo Jujutsu High, becoming a student of the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, alongside Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, to fight against Curses.
The popular character Kento Nanami, affectionately nicknamed "Nanamin" (ななみ), is a junior of Satoru Gojo. After graduating from Tokyo Jujutsu High, he entered the corporate world. However, upon realizing that "work is crap" and growing tired of the corporate slave life, he resigned and returned to the Jujutsu world as a freelance Jujutsu Sorcerer.
The "POP UP PARADE Kento Nanami" PVC figure stands approximately 180mm tall, faithfully recreating Nanami's iconic look from the anime. He is depicted wearing his signature goggles and a beige suit, with one hand casually tucked into his pocket while the other adjusts his yellow polka-dot tie, which is made from a cursed tool. This pose perfectly captures his disdain for overtime and the feeling of his restraints about to be unleashed! His slicked-back hair is meticulously sculpted with individual strands, and his slightly gaunt face, along with his perpetually calm and serious expression, are all carefully rendered.
