Japanese model maker Megahouse and Hong Kong-based threezero have officially unveiled their latest collaboration: the "Asurada G.S.X" from the "VARIABLE ACTION Hi-SPEC UNITED" Future GPX Cyber Formula series. This highly anticipated collectible is set to release in March 2023, with a suggested retail price of 43,780 JPY (tax included).

This new product brings to life the "Asurada G.S.X," the racing machine originally developed by Missing Link to test the "Asurada" AI navigation system for Hiroshi Kazami. After being delivered to the SUGO team, it was modified into a high-performance racer capable of transforming into three different modes to adapt to various terrains. However, during transit, the vehicle was hijacked, leading protagonist Hayato Kazami to unexpectedly become Asurada's sole pilot.
The "VARIABLE ACTION Hi-SPEC UNITED Asurada G.S.X" has been reimagined by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau. This 1/18 scale model measures approximately 24 cm in length and features a highly mechanical body constructed from POM, ABS, die-cast metal parts, and PVC soft rubber tires. It boasts a premium finish with heavy metallic and matte paint applications, complemented by numerous detailed markings that enhance its intricate design. A partially articulated Hayato Kazami figure is also included and can be placed in the cockpit.

Regarding its articulation and features, multiple sections boast deployable and movable mechanisms, including the side doors, roof, twin rear wings, fuel cap, and, most notably, the boosters. Furthermore, the model incorporates an internal LED light-up function, allowing the headlights, side lights, dashboard, and boosters to illuminate. Different lighting modes can be selected via the dedicated display stand.
