Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse (株式会社メガハウス) recently unveiled the unpainted prototype for their latest "Gundam Guys Generation (GGG)" series character figure: "Paptimus Scirocco" from "Mobile Suit Z Gundam." The release date is yet to be determined.
A charismatic and influential leader, Paptimus Scirocco originally commanded a Jupiter resource mining vessel dispatched by the Earth Federation government. Upon returning to Earth, he joined the Titans to combat the AEUG forces. Scirocco was not only an exceptional commander but also possessed outstanding Mobile Suit piloting skills and powerful Newtype abilities. Beneath his charming and adaptable demeanor lay a deeply ambitious and arrogant personality. During the latter stages of the Gryps Conflict, Scirocco seized the opportunity to assassinate Titans supreme commander Jamitov Hyman, framing Axis leader Haman Karn, and subsequently seized control of the Titans under the guise of revenge.
While many fans might remember Scirocco for his infamous, distorted face after being hit by the Z Gundam's "Watermelon Split" attack, he is also considered quite the handsome figure. The "GGG Paptimus Scirocco" figure captures him in his military uniform, striking an imposing pose. Interchangeable parts will allow for variations in his hand gestures, though unfortunately, clear details of his facial sculpt are not yet visible.
