Bandai's Gashapon brand, known for its "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" capsule toy series featuring interchangeable joints and endless customization, today announced the upcoming release of the latest entry from "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ": the "EX37 Full Armor ZZ Gundam," slated for June 2022.
While the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam was a mobile suit equipped with various high-firepower beam and projectile weapons, its structural integrity was somewhat weak due to its transformation and combination from three fighter jets. To counter the Neo Zeon's growing military might and the monstrous NZ-000 Quin Mantha mobile armor, the AEUG first proposed an enhancement plan, resulting in the "Enhanced ZZ Gundam." Later, utilizing data from the test unit FAZZ, they further modified it into the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam," which boasted comprehensively improved defense, firepower, and mobility.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX37 Full Armor ZZ Gundam" condenses its high-density sculpt and layered, heavy armor into a compact 65mm size. Its backpack missile pods feature an opening and closing gimmick, and it comes with its incredibly powerful signature weapon, the "Hyper Mega Cannon." Furthermore, multiple additional armor parts across its body are detachable, allowing collectors to recreate both the "ZZ Gundam" and "Enhanced ZZ Gundam" forms by swapping parts!
