Bandai's GASHAPON brand, known for its "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" capsule toy series featuring interchangeable parts and endless customization, today announced the latest addition from "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ": the "EX38 Qubeley Set," slated for release in June 2022.
The AMX-004 Qubeley is a Newtype-use mobile suit developed by Neo Zeon, evolving from the Mobile Armor Elmeth of the One Year War, designed to counter the Earth Federation Forces. It boasts a sleek, elegant design with large armor panels and houses a miniaturized Psycommu system. This system allows it to remotely control 10 "Funnels" to fire beam cannons, enabling all-range attacks. Originally the personal machine of Neo Zeon leader Haman Karn, later "Mk-II" and "Mass Production Type" variants were built and piloted by the Newtype clones of the Ple series.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX38 Qubeley Set" includes three distinct units: the white Qubeley (Haman Karn's Unit), the black Qubeley Mk-II (Elpeo Ple's Unit), and the red Qubeley Mk-II (Ple Two's Unit). Each mobile suit's colors are faithfully reproduced through paint applications and multi-color part separation. Furthermore, their shoulder binders can be rotated downwards to recreate their iconic flight poses.
Each Qubeley also comes equipped with its dedicated beam saber, 10 Funnels, and clear display stands. Radial effect parts are also included to vividly recreate the simultaneous launch of all 10 Funnels!
