GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the Japanese manufacturer behind the popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand releases, is set to launch the highly anticipated "Nendoroid Suguru Geto: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Ver." following the release of "Yuta Okkotsu" from "Jujutsu Kaisen 0." This figure will retail for 6,600 JPY and is slated for an August 2022 release.
The popular antagonist Suguru Geto from "Jujutsu Kaisen" was a classmate of Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri during his time at Jujutsu High. He and Gojo were not only close friends but also known as the strongest duo of Jujutsu Sorcerers. However, their differing ideologies led them down separate paths. After the Star Plasma Vessel escort mission, Geto defected, seized control of the Star Religious Group, and sought to create a world populated solely by sorcerers, viewing non-sorcerers as "monkeys" (inferior beings). He is classified as one of the most dangerous Special Grade Cursed Spirit Users.
The "Nendoroid Suguru Geto: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Ver." articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Suguru Geto's appearance from the movie, specifically before the distinctive stitches appeared on his forehead (no spoilers!). The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "Standard Face," a sinister "Combat Face," and a "Smiling Face" with narrowed eyes. Accessories include the "Cursed Spirit Core: Black Orb" used in his Cursed Spirit Manipulation, and "Yuta's Student ID Card." With various interchangeable hand parts, fans can recreate their favorite scenes from the film.
▼The specially designed circular base features a pattern inspired by his distinctive kasaya robes.
