Following the highly anticipated release of the Manjiro Sano figure, Japanese brand F-collection (エフコレクション) is back with the second installment in their popular "Tokyo Revengers" anime series lineup: a new Takemichi Hanagaki PVC pre-painted complete figure! Priced at 9,800 JPY, the figure is slated for release in late March 2022.
Authored by Japanese manga artist Ken Wakui, the action-packed "Tokyo Revengers" (東京卍リベンジャーズ) manga began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in 2017 and received an acclaimed anime adaptation in 2021. The story follows protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki, a down-on-his-luck part-timer who learns that his first love, Hinata Tachibana, died after being caught in a conflict involving the Kanto region's most notorious gang, the "Tokyo Manji Gang" (Toman). After a sudden accident, Takemichi finds himself transported 12 years into the past, back to his middle school days. Determined to save Hinata and change his own cowardly self, Takemichi befriends the leader of the biker gang, Manjiro Sano, and his second-in-command, Ken Ryuguji, thus beginning his journey of revenge.
The F-collection Takemichi Hanagaki PVC pre-painted complete figure stands approximately 21.5 cm tall. It masterfully captures Takemichi's resolute and confident expression after becoming the First Division Captain, rendered in a straight, hands-in-pockets standing pose. Dressed in Toman's signature special attack uniform, the figure features intricate gold paint details for the phrases "First Generation Tokyo Manji Gang," "First Division Captain," and "Tenjo Tenge Yuiga Dokuson," adding both gravitas and a premium feel.
