BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS, known for its sharp designs and unique proportions in the next-generation action figure series "NXEDGE STYLE," has announced its latest release: "Ryujinmaru (Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru Ver.)" from the anime "Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru." This new figure, following the previously released Sword King Ryujinmaru, is slated for a July 2022 release.
Appearing in "Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru," Ryujinmaru inherits the spirit of the heroic Ryujinmaru who saved ancient Soukaizan. It is the avatar of the "Golden Dragon," one of Soukaizan's Seven Dragon Gods. Its design is more elongated and sharper compared to previous iterations, with significantly extended limbs and shoulder armor. In addition to its signature weapon, the "Touryuken," Ryujinmaru can also undergo "Chou-Ryoku Henshin" (Super Power Transformation) using the Holy God Magatama acquired from various world layers, gaining new appearances and abilities.
The "NXEDGE STYLE Ryujinmaru (Chou Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru Ver.)" is brought to life with the series' characteristic sharp design and flexible articulation. It features powerfully sculpted head and shoulder armor, enhanced with multiple metallic paint applications on the crown, shoulder dragon claw patterns, and the Touryuken, giving it a substantial, high-quality feel. The impressive 15cm Touryuken can be stored on its back, allowing for dynamic battle poses thanks to the figure's extensive articulation.
Furthermore, it is compatible with the "Sword King's Sword" included with the separately sold Sword King Ryujinmaru!
