Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse recently announced the upcoming release of their latest high-end collectible figure, the "P.O.P. 'WA-MAXIMUM' Roronoa Zoro Ver. Demon Aura Nine-Sword Style Asura" from the popular "One Piece" series, slated for September 2022.
This stunning three-dimensional rendition captures Zoro in his powerful "Demon Aura Nine-Sword Style Asura" form, where his fighting spirit is pushed to its absolute limit, manifesting the illusion of the three-headed, six-armed demon god Asura. In this state, he wields nine katanas to unleash devastating sword techniques such as Ichibugin, Magi, Senma, and Dead Man's Game. The figure boasts an impressive presence, standing approximately 17.5 cm tall with an overall length of 39 cm!
The sculpt meticulously captures Zoro's fierce expression as he clenches a katana in his mouth, alongside his powerful muscular physique and the dynamic flow of his clothing. Gradient paintwork masterfully depicts the interplay of light and shadow, while metallic finishes on the swords and sheaths convey a weighty, realistic feel. A particular highlight is the distinct differentiation between Zoro's main body and his illusionary forms: the main body features a standard skin tone and sharp, focused facial features, whereas the illusory heads and hands are rendered in a striking metallic purple with a vacant, ethereal expression, perfectly embodying the formidable presence of the demon god Asura.
