Bandai's Gashapon division, known for its highly popular "Machibouke: Waiting Animals" capsule toy series, is back with its brand new seventh installment! Following the release of Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3, Vol. 4, and Vol. 5, the "Machibouke 7: Waiting Animals" (まちぼうけ 7) collection makes its debut. This series features five different figures, each retailing for 300 JPY, with an expected release in February 2022.
The adorable "Machibouke 7: Waiting Animals" capsule toy series continues the beloved concept of anthropomorphic animals posed with their legs tucked and hands resting on their knees, capturing a poignant, almost melancholic waiting expression. This seventh wave features a lineup of five distinct animals: a Frog, a Baby Panda, a Tiger, an Octopus, and the fantasy creature, a Dragon. Each figure measures approximately 5 cm, meticulously sculpted not only to convey their patient waiting posture but also their subtly vacant, endearing expressions.
