Hong Kong-based model maker FLAME TOYS recently showcased the prototype for "Alteisen," the latest addition to their die-cast action figure series, "Tetsukikou," based on the video game "Super Robot Wars OG." They also announced that the popular mecha "Weissritter" would be joining the lineup.
The "Alteisen" (アルトアイゼン) prototype on display is a unit utilized by the Earth Federation Army's ATX Team. Unlike the SRX, this machine boasts high reliability as it completely foregoes Extra-Over Technology (EOT). Developed with a focus on "overwhelming firepower for single-point breakthroughs," the Alteisen features high-power weaponry and heavy armor, equipped with mid-to-close range ballistic armaments such as the "Square Claymore" and "Revolving Bunker." However, its poor balance demands exceptional piloting skills, with Kyosuke Nanbu typically serving as its main pilot in the game.
The "Tetsukikou Alteisen" is sculpted by Zhao Ping. While slightly taller in proportion, it faithfully recreates the Alteisen's signature heavy armor. Its broad limbs convey a substantial presence, with intricate armor lines and details meticulously rendered. The figure also faithfully reproduces its distinctive armaments: the "Revolving Bunker" on the right arm and the "3-Barrel Machine Cannon" on the left. Fans are eagerly anticipating whether the backpack thrusters and the deployment mechanism for the dual shoulder-mounted "Square Claymores" will also be replicated.
As for the "Tetsukikou Weissritter," piloted by Excellen Browning, only concept art drawn by Hyogo Funabashi has been showcased so far.
